A stunning, beachfront mixed-use development at the epicenter of surf culture and Southern California style. DJM completed the three-year, $136 million ground up development of the 191,000 square feet of boutique and national retail, unique restaurants and Pacific view outdoor dining, as well as a proprietary branded public marketplace and California culinary experience called LOT 579.

Pacific City has been a showcase of DJM’s unique coastal retail development, leasing and operating expertise. DJM’s team worked hand-in-hand with the community and the city of Huntington Beach to create a world-class design and sense of place to reflect the DNA of Huntington Beach and a California Coastal aesthetic as well as a curated tenant mix to do the same. 

DJM acquired Pacific City, redesigned the Retail and Hotel, underwent a entitlement plan amendment, sold the hotel parcel and completed the ground-up construction of the retail within the coastal permits in under 4 years.
