Marketing Manager - Legacy West


Lead all projects and activities related to marketing, events, advertising, promotions, public relations, and community relations from ideation to execution. Drive foot traffic and to the project and handle all marketing functions under the leadership of the Legacy West General Manager. 

This position will oversee, implement and manage on-site events and partnerships in addition to overseeing the digital and social platforms for Legacy West.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Meet regularly with retailers to discuss sales, identify trends, communicate events and promotions, discuss upcoming initiatives, and provide assistance. 

  • Manage on property sign programs (both paid and complimentary), ensuring brand alignment with regards to the creation of content and design for all uses.

  • Oversee graphics, collateral, and signs as needed for the Operations department and our tenants. 

  • Actively pursue and assist in creating suitable and on-brand events, activations and promotions for Legacy West that elevate the brand and drive traffic, awareness, and sales.

  • Coordinate onsite events internally, with tenants or third-party individuals, including: negotiating fees, conducting walkthroughs, receiving necessary company and city approvals, collecting insurance, coordinating event logistics with various departments (engineering, housekeeping, security), creating and distributing event plans and keeping the necessary parties informed, as well as overseeing the setup/breakdown and event staff. Occasional weekend and night hours are expected.

  • Recap all events within one week of the event, ensuring accurate sales, photos and anecdotal information.

  • Lead, organize, plan and oversee weekly and seasonal entertainment.

  • Manage monthly calendar, to include organizing, collecting, and compiling a monthly calendar of events with all tenant and property events and activities, to be listed on the property websites.

  • Manage marketing budgets for Legacy West to include maintaining and balancing the budgets, monitoring all expenses to ensure budgets are met, providing forecasting numbers on a monthly basis, as well as coding and submitting invoices.

  • Manage print advertising for Legacy West, including coordinating with designers and submitting artwork on time to publications and tracking effectiveness of advertisements.

  • Track and oversee tenant participation for marketing events on property, develop relationships with store management and corporate marketing, and work on property marketing events from concept to completion.

  • Oversee all website, email, and social media content for Legacy West and insure its consistency to brand voice.

  • Manage project Retail Report, working in coordination with the GM and Property Manager to provide a high-level monthly report on the overall project performance with a focus on Sales and Foot traffic.

  • Must have Event Production Experience.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • College Degree in Marketing or related field preferred

  • Experience producing events and activations

  • 3 or more years of experience in marketing or transferable field preferred

  • Awareness of marketing trends

  • Knowledgeable in areas of retail and fashion industries

  • Ability to work well with others and a preference for teamwork

  • Willingness to work outside of normal office hours, including nights and weekends

  • Ability to think outside the box
